Are there cheap buses from Sacramento to San Francisco?

A family member is planning a trip to Sacramento and will also go to San Francisco. What are the fares in USD dollars please? Have not been able to find an answer for this one

    Greyhound or MegaBus - usually $10 or less, many buses a day. See greyhound.com or megabus.com.

    Greyhound is probably cheaper than the Capitol Corridor Amtrak from downtown Sacto into Oakland with a transfer to BART to get to S.F. I dont know why you couldnt find this info online.

    Yes, with at least 3 weeks advance scheduling with Greyhound Lines.

    AmTrak is the more comfortable ride.

    AMTRACK is a good option from Oakland.

    Greyhound has a $10 round trip fare if you buy tickets a week a head, $16 web fare less than a week ahead. Seems pretty cheap to me.
