My mom's IUD broke? Help!?
She found it broken during her most recent period. She scheduled an appointment for Planned P ASAP. (she has no insurance). He stomach is bloating, she's kind of in pain, its getting worse every day. I feel like this is a lot more serious than she's taking it. Her appointment is tomorrow, but I think she needs to go to the ER instead. Opinions?

Definitely go to the emergency room. They always have OB/GYN on call at hospitals for emergencies. They will probably do an ultrasound or x ray to find out if its still in her. They may need to do surgery that night.
