Increasing the minimum wage is just like increasing the price of any good or commodity offered for sale. The more it costs the less of it will be sold. Surely you know this from personal experience. The same principle applies with the cost of labor. The more labor costs, the fewer the number of people that will be employed. Now do you understand why raising the minimum wage is not a good thing in a poor economy where people are having a hard enough time getting a job?

C'mon catch up with the rest of us Republicans. You can do it if you try.

I DEFY you to tell us where the federal government gets the authority to set wages for anyone not employed by it. Please provide the Article, Section or Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. BETCHA CAN'T!! How will supporting the Constitution lose seats?
