Should Sterling be able to sue if the NBA strips him of the clippers, and sells it for below market value or below what Sterling asks for it?

Being a 'racist' isn't grounds to have your property stolen from you

    They can't and they won't. Even if you're a racist moron that's no grounds for taking somebody taking your property without just compensation.

    They'll make an offer, but if he doesn't want to sell he doesn't have to.

    1: No. He won't win. The judge will toss it directly to the arbitrator since it's not a legal issue but a league issue.

    2: He's not having his property stolen from him. He may(will) be forced to sell the team.

    3: Look at it this way. The NBA is a franchise league(kinda like Subways)with a board of directors. Each team is is owned by one person. If one owner does something against the leagues best interest the B.O.,D can force the sale of that franchise.
