No, the center is (4, 3). The (x - 4) term tells you the x coordinate of the center is 4.
The (y - 3) term tells you the y coordinate of the center is 3.
The x intercepts are where y = 0, so they are the solutions to (x - 4)^2 + 3^2 = 81 or (x -4 )^2 = 81 - 9 = 72.

The x intercepts occur when y = 0
(x - 4)² + (0 - 3)² = 81
x² - 8x + 16 + 9 = 81
x² - 8x - 56 = 0
x = {8 - √[-8² - 4(1)(56)]}/2 and x = {8 + √[-8² - 4(1)(56)]}/2
x = 4 - ���72 and x = 4 + √72
