Will my husky get along well with a cat or another dog?
He was born on March 5 this year so that makes him about 7 weeks old now I believe. He's an indoor dog and bites a lot. I think he needs a playmate so I was thinking of a Golden retriever or a German shepherd around his age. Will this helps?
My brother wants kittens though. I read that husky can be train with cats but is 7 weeks too late or too old with kittens?

Huskies aren't cat killers if you bring them up properly. For a start I don't know why you have the puppy at 7 weeks old, they should stay with their litter/mum until at least 12 weeks.
The problem with huskies isn't their prey drive, but their energy level, and the fact they don't realize how big they are. I brought my husky pup into a house with another small dog and an even smaller cat, and they had great fun chasing each other around, but the husky could get a bit overpowering at times. In short, provided you teach the dog quickly and firmly the cat isn't a chew toy, and supervise if they can get to each other, they'll be fine, just don't leave them together unsupervised.

Huskies are known "cat killers", this is due in part to their predatory instincts and intense prey drive. I wouldn't gamble with an animals nature, and for the safety of my cat, I'd pass on getting a Siberian Husky, or any "prey driven" breed for that matter.
While there are tons of animals that do learn to cope and live amongst other animals, such as the countless Siberian Huskies you see on Youtube, frolicking with kittens, this is going against the breeds nature, and anytime you bet on an animals ability to suppress it's instincts, you are playing a deadly, and unpredictable game.
Dogs generally get alone with other dogs, even same sexes, if properly trained and socialized and disciplined. The puppy should have no issues getting along with other dogs, I wouldn't worry in the least about the dog/dog companionship.

It is never a good idea to have more than a puppy at a time. If your dog is play biting a lot and you don't like it, do you think you would like it better if you get bitten in the manner by two dogs? If you can't train one dog then you can't train two dogs either.

I would not trust a husky type dog to be ok with cats. And at that age you should concentrate on training the pup for at least a year before you consider to bring in another dog.
You have a ton of training to do - potty and basic obedience. Don't worry about a companion at this point in time - work on training the dog.

Well, there have been alot of time where the dogs don't really care for the cats and they just leave eachother alone, but depending on if the dogs are territorial, since they have lived there longer than the cats, they might take getting used to, I wouldn't leave them alone in same room especially, atleast until they get to know eachother.
