I think my puppy is bored?
I got a 7 weeks old husky and he is the only dog in the house. He came from a family of four other liters and was four weeks old when I adopted him. At first, he was crying a lot but now, he's always running around the house causing destruction and biting on things. Especially me when I'm around.
The problem is, I got school and military commitment and as sad as it is, I am not able to play with him much then I should be. When I have time, I try playing with him until he gets tired and sleep. By then, I would be tired and I myself would fall asleep too. Not enough time to do homework or clean around the house.
Now, I think I have an idea what if he has a playmate. They can play with each other and burn the energies. I know how messy my husky can be and I don't mind cleaning after his mess. I am thinking about a Golden Retriever or a German Shepherd around his age.

if you can't control this puppy, then you definitely won't be able to control two puppies.
buy a crate, first thing you need to do is crate train him, so follow this:
http://www.wikihow.com/Crate-Train-Your-Dog-or-Pup...
when he gets use to the crate, every time he starts chewing on something say ''no'' or ''time out'' or whatever word you want to use and put him in the crate for timeout. Timeouts have been working great for my 12 week old pup who wants to tear everything up. READ THIS:

when you leave, you can put him in his crate so he doesn't destroy anything, and try to take him for short walks during the day to tire him out or play fetch or tug of war with him
**EDIT**
you could also use a baby gate so he doesn't wonder everywhere or a dog pen

Huge mistake to have 2 puppies at once. All that'll happen in your case is you'll have TWO bored puppies, puppies that will get very destructive as they get older.
You need to spend time training, socializing, exercising this puppy that you got from a backyard breeder. He's going to need lots of time spent with him. Did you do any research as to how many hours each and every day this breed needs to spend running when they're older?

I wouldn't count on another dog calming your husky down. They're naturally very high energy dogs, and at 7 weeks old, your husky is just acting like a normal puppy. They are pack oriented dogs, and can benefit from having a friend around, but if you don't even have enough time to commit to one puppy, i definitely would not take on a second one, thats just going to make your life chaos and destruction even more.
I don't know if its possible for you, but maybe you can hire a dog walker to take him out for an hour every day. Ideally your husky should be getting several hours of exercise every day.

Do not get two puppies. You may as well give this dog up right now. Huskies are a high energy breed, they require hours of structured exercise a day as well as mental stimulation.
Trust me, I have two dogs. They still get bored, but they get bored together, so it is 2x the work. Plus it is very hard to properly train to puppies at the same time.

WRONG! You are doing this all wrong.
Number one, why on earth did you get a puppy that you don't have time to care for? Puppies need constant attention, and shouldn't be left alone longer than 2 hours per day. They also need to be taken out for nightly potty breaks. Puppies are BABIES, and like every other baby animal, they require A LOT of attention, why didn't you know this before hand?
Number two, four weeks is too young to be taken away from the mother. This dog is going to require a TON of extra training in order to have him to be properly behaved - a lesson he would have normally learned from his mother and litter mates around his age right now.
Number three, another dog is not the answer. You can NOT expect another dog to do what your job is, and that is to exercise and care for your dog YOURSELF. Do not expect another dog to expel all your dogs energy.
Number four, if you did want another dog (for simply companion purposes) do NOT even look into getting another dog until your current dog is over 1 years old. Two puppies is the WORST idea you could ever do.
Number five, this dog will always require a lot of exercise, I assume you know this because you should have researched the breed before committing to it. Which is the logical thing to do, so you better be prepared for 2 hour daily runs.
Good luck.
Edit: I have a year old dog, and just got a 13 week old puppy, and let me tell you - yes, they do keep each other entertained *at times*, but they don't by any means use ALL their energy playing with each other, they get bored, they get bored of each other, they get bored together - then it's time for a nice jog or hike to expel their excess pent up energy.
