Getting from Manchester Piccadilly to Emirates Old Trafford?
I'm going to the X Factor auditions in Manchester this Saturday.
The address is : Emirates Old Trafford, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Talbot Rd, Manchester M16 0PX.
I am leaving from Leeds, arriving at Manchester Piccadilly at 6:50 in the morning. From there, how can I get to the Old Trafford? Last time I went with the car and that was the only time I went in Manchester ever...so yeah...if you can give me detailed directions I would appreciate :D and how much would a return ticket cost? Thanks :)

Take the Metrolink tram from underneath the main concourse of Piccadilly station (go down two levels), take a tram that's going to Altrincham and get off at the Old Trafford stop. Walk up Brian Statham Way towards the cricket ground and MUFC, the cricket ground is practically the first thing you'll come across on the left, and Talbot Road is the first main road you come across.
Off-peak adult return is £3.20.
