When something has the copyright symbol on it, what does it mean?
If there is a article with a copyright symbol on it, does it mean that the owner of the article has the copyright, or the owner got the information from someone else?

If you have the copyright symbol on it , it means that that person is not taking credit for it like for example you see a copyright symbol on something so that item has been copied and yet the person who copied it is not going to take credit for it
its like saying this is what i need but the complete idea wasnt mine

It means that if you copy it, the owner can sue you (and will always win...because you STOLE their intellectual property...)

If a work is copyrighted, it means no one else may use the material without permission (and payment, if required) from the owner of the material and/or his agent or agent office.
