Is there a Bible that is an exact copy of the original writings of the New Testament?
I know that most of the New Testament was written in Greek. Is there a Greek New Testament Bible that is identical to the original New Testament scripture?

2 AnswersOther - Outdoor Recreation6 years agoWhy is there no proof of God?
How would you describe; faith without proof vs. faith with proof? I would describe it as; trust vs. fact. Why is there no proof of God? Which do you think a loving God would want? You to believe in Him because you trust Him, or to believe in Him because of a fact?
God wants a relationship with you. Trust vs. fact; which of those is more useful in a relationship?

If there is a article with a copyright symbol on it, does it mean that the owner of the article has the copyright, or the owner got the information from someone else?
3 AnswersOther - Education7 years agoBrothers and sisters, why do we tell people about Jesus?
Many people say that we think ourselves self-righteous and bigoted for saying that there is only one God, He does exist, and Jesus did die for our sins because God loves us.
But I ask you, why do we tell people about Jesus? That he is the only way to salvation?
Who is this for? Do we say this to make us look good? Why not keep the gospel to ourselves and never tell anyone?
What did God do in our lives to make us want to share Him with others?
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWhat characteristics of lust makes it a sin?
Lying is an abomination to God because it is doing something completely opposite of Him. Lying does not tell the truth, while God does tell the truth. Lying is what God is not, and whatever sin is, God is the opposite.
What is lust? It is a sin because God said it's a sin, I'm not questioning that. I want to know how it is contrast to God, just like lying. What is the opposite of lust?
I know lust is not a sin because of desire. If that would be true, then temptation would be a sin. You cannot be tempted with something if you don't want it. -EX- I'm tempted to steal that candy bar because I really want it. - However, if you didn't want the candy bar, you couldn't be tempted to steal it.
And, is lust only limited to sexual things? Could I lust for gold? Lust for clothing?
How does someone look at a women lustfully? I know how to do it, I just don't really know how to put it in words. What are you doing when you look at a women lustfully?
Try to be very detailed in your answers, I will your entire answer from top to bottom (assuming that it is a legit answer).
Thanks, peace be with you.
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoChristians: When should I speak up?
I understand that it is my responsibility to share the gospel with the world.
But I dont know when I should speak up against those who are doing and saying something wrong.
If someone is slandering another, and I am part of the conversation, how do I speak up? I've been told it is not my job to convict people, that is the Holy Spirit's job. How do I speak up? This person would be a non-believer.
If I am not part of the conversation, is it my place to speak up? Should I?
I very much want to whenever I hear someone saying something they shouldn't be.
Do I rebuke my neighbor, or do I only rebuke my brother (Brother in Christ)?
And what about people that are above me? Such as my father, or elder?
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhere is that bible verse?
I have it in my head, but I can't seem to find it. Where does it say, "Defend those who cannot defend themselves"? I thought it was in one of the gospels.

5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoJesus was, is, and is to come. What does this mean?
I understand that Jesus is coming. But what about the first 2 parts? He "was"? He was what? And He "is"? He is what? These first two must be related with the last part, "is to come". What does it mean?
16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoIf you don't forgive others, God will not forgive you. What will happen then?
Matthew 18:21-35 is the parable of the unforgiving servant. At the end, the servant gets thrown into jail till his debt is paid b/c he did not forgive, then Jesus says this is how my Father will treat those who do not forgive.
Is this a reference to purgatory?
What happens when someone doesn't forgive another?

12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWould God use torture as punishment in government?
All governing authority has been put in place by God as agents of His wrath, whoever resists them resists Him (Romans 13)
In the case that there is a terrorist who knows where a bomb is that will kill lots of people, would it be wrong to torture the terrorist to get the information to where the bomb is?
In this case, would that torture be God's punishment on that man?
This torture would be of no great bodily harm. Things like water-boarding, shock therapy, etc.
Would God ever use torture as punishment?
NO CONDESCENDING COMMENTS PLEASE, ONLY THOSE WHO INTEND TO ANSWER THIS FROM A BIBLICAL/CHRISTIAN STANCE.
