guys are the same way with me and my friend. It is just that they are gullible to the looks of my friend and she likes to flirt. but i dont flirt so they pay no attention to me. we r the better people here

I would say its rude to introduce yourself to only one of two people standing together. It shows interest only in the other person, devaluing you maybe based on looks? I'd say the only reason why it would not be rude is if there were some sort of circumstance where there was a reason for it, like the other person being famous or something.
