The atheists may make their argument against the Divine; however, they must replace the Divine with something quite extraordinary and of better value.

The theist must make their argument against science; and replace science with something of better value.

They should be allowed twenty minutes.

Richard Dawkins has a brilliant analytical mind and his logic is flawless. He is respected as an academic world wide and has the unique ability to explain complex matters in a clear and easy to understand manner.

Dawkins speaks from a scientific point of view, using logic, reason and science.

If by theist you mean fundamentalistic Christians, who take the bible as literal truth, well, there are fewer and fewer of those types around. Christianity for many is easily compatible with science. And there is not one single definition of god that everyone agrees on.

Dawkins in a huge talent, and writes extremely well. He has no reason to "give in".

Take the Bible for what it is.... the musings, legends, folk lore of a tribe of ancient peoples, long before any science was known. That is what most Christians do. Only the true fundies ramble on about the bible this and the bible that. It was no more any accurate than anything else many ancient peoples wrote.
