Hypothetical question about the Haruhi Suzumiya series?

I was just thinking today, about the lack of Haruhi that has come out since 2010...and I also thought about the Chuunibyou Movie which is a complete recap shown through the main female Rikka's perspective. So I was thinking, it would be awesome to see a recap movie about the Haruhi series (with or without Endless 8) shown entirely through Haruhi's perspective. I mean sure, we won't hear Kyon's sarcasm and brilliant dialogue, but, I would love this. We'd get to see everything that goes through Haruhi's head throughout all the things that happen. I don't have really want problems with the series except for a few which include, that there wasn't enough character backstory, and that there wasn't enough focus on what went on in Haruhi's head.

Again, all hypothetical, but what do you think about it? (I know there's about a 0% chance of this happening)

I swear I'm the only one who remembers that announcement about the Disappearance of Yuki Nagato being animated. Granted there's been no news about it since the announcement, but I was expecting that to spread fast instead of just sitting invisible to everyone. http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=707699

Anyway, I agree with Opticaillusion. Part of the fun of Haruhi is that you never know exactly what she's thinking and making a movie through her point of view would ruin that. Also, recap movies are just a cheap way for studios to make money off of a franchise without spending a dime on actually animating new stuff and serve little purpose at all.

Well, it could potentially happen if they wanted to generate interest for a new season (I think they stopped adapting at the 5th or so light novel so there's plenty of material) so it's not entirely impossible.

The thing is, I don't know if I want to see anything from haruhi's perspective. Even after watching both seasons of the anime, the movie, and finishing two of the light novels, I still don't understand (and probably never will) what the hell goes on in her mind. I think that creating a movie in Haruhi's POV would ruin my perception of her and make her less of a interesting character.

Plus, there are several episodes that I don't really want to watch again (even excluding the endless eight.) The light novels are available for purchase so you could always read them if you really love the series
