How to not procrastinate and keep stress low?

I'm a high school senior with a C in english (other grades fine) this class is AP. I'm going to CC, so no major colleges to worry about. I feel like I have so much to do and no time to live life at all. School is time consuming and really hard these days. I'm also in madrigals and choir, that's a lot of extra practice. I get so distracted and stressed out that my work doesn't get done. I'm also depressed. I had my first love break up with me in nov, and one of my closest friends die in Jan. i think about both 24/7. I have soo many problems that I get distracted with them. I have no motivation anymore and I need help finding it! Any similar stories or tips would help. Please no rude comments, try walking in my shoes, it makes a lot more sense. This is really watered down because I'm tired..

What you should do is take a few days and relax. I would say a good week, full 7 days, and spend the first 2 or 3 just doing absolutely nothing. Sleep, watch some TV and eat popcorn, text ur friends, tasks that dont really require a whole lot of effort to perform. Remove anything related to what you normally do completely for a few days and give your mind time to rest on everything and your body a break from the daily things you do, or else youll "overload" yourself, and physically and mentally (even emotionally sometimes) wont be able to perform them for a while (a while being 3 - 5 ish days), and start to get bad headaches, and feel bad.

The other few days, you should take time to really kind of organize your life a little bit better so your not so confused and stressed all the time, and you can make time to have fun and relax.

You should also really make a day kind of like a "holiday" where you celebrate not working. Once a year, once a month, how ever often you like, as long as one exists and you program yourself to actually enjoy that day when it comes. This will actually make you perform even better at your daily tasks, taking breaks from them every so often, because your less exhausted from doing them.

When the world distracts you from what you are doing, as hard as it will be, focus your best on what you are doing, and stay focused to that. If that is just something you cannot achieve, take a 10, 15 minute break. Go for a quick run, get something to eat, watch a episode of TV or something for a short bit of time. This distracts your mind on something more constructive, so you still stay in a "working" mode, but not fully shut down to a "depressed" mode. That way when you get back to it, your more into it, and are much more able to stay focused towards it.

It may take a lot more time out of doing the tasks you want to stay focused to, but by the end of the week, if you calculate up the times you spent AWAY from your work, then the time you spent DISTRACTED from your work, you will see that you saved much more time being away and got a lot more done when you where at it, then when you where distracted, and trying to work.

Firstly, to do anything you must enjoy it. Love it.

Don't get overwhelmed . Try doing meditation. I know it would be hard at the beginning. But ,once your able to do it with focus, studying will not seem hard.

Whenever you procrastinate tell yourself it is necessary. Find motivation!

Turn off the Internet. Study for short periods, reward yourself .

    Exercise.
