In “Consumer Choices,” Michael Brower and Warren Leon argue that even though the small actions of individual consumers can have some influence in changing habits and eliminating products that harm the environment, it is more important that environmentally-beneficial policies are instituted on a large social scale, specifically through the creation by government of “policies that make it easy, or even required, for manufacturers and users of products to choose the environmentally sound option”.Do you agree with this view?
