Thoughts on Conchita Wurst winning?

I watched the contest and I am a fan of it albeit living in Asia. I respect her (the persona being portrayed) and her ideas about fairness and equality among people from different backgrounds. The only disadvantage I see is her message after being called the winner: "we are unstoppable". Why? It is like engaging into war and it seemed too paradoxical to just fight when you advocate peace among those who prejudoce and are being prejudiced. Nevertheless, I congratulate her.

WHY THE HECK DID ISRAEL NOT ADVANCE TO THE FINALS??

Concita Wurst's sex is male, Concita may be transgender but I'm not sure if he dresses in women's clothing all the time.

First of all, it's HE, not SHE. It's not a woman with beard, it's a man in a drag.

Secondly, I didn't watch Eurovision, but I've heard miles better songs this year by other countries. I think that the only reason he won is because of the gimmick, which is dressing up untraditionally. It's clear as day that's the case.

Ask yourself, would you still like the song as much if you didn't know who is singing or what he/she looks like? I doubt so.

P.S. I'm not a homophobe or anything like that. Everyone who doesn't worship him is blamed to be one, so I'm telling you just in case that I'm not. Just because the dude is gay I don't have to automatically like him like many people who voted for him.
