How do i stretch my ears properly?

I just got bought 14g tapers and plugs today and i havent put them in yet. My mother bought me vaseline to help slide the tapers in slowly, and antibacterial soup to wash them with daily. And how long do i keep the tapers in until i can put the plugs in?

    I recommend vitamin e or jojoba oil for lube/massages it's good for your ears. The taper is just used to stretch the piercing not to wear as jewelry so put the plugs in as soon as possible. Good luck.
