Why does no one care about Robotics;Notes?
Yes, I know it came after the great Steins;Gate. And yes, I also understand that it will never be as good as Steins;Gate. But seriously I really really enjoyed Robotics;Notes and nobody really cares that much about it. I thought everything it did it did really well. And I'm inclined to say the animation was better than that of S;G. I guess I can't complain, at least it's not getting the Chaos;Head treatment...

I only saw the first 6 episodes, but a blog I read saw all of it. He liked it at first, but then he complained that there too much going on and that it became a mess with all the different subplots. He said it was ambitious, but failed.
I think Robotics;Notes is not popular as the other Noitamina anime running at the same time, Psycho-Pass, was way more popular and better recieved, partially due to a certain Urobutcher working on it. I think it's just because of the genre it was though. It looks like a mecha show, but in reality it's a slice-of-life with sci-fi elements. Mecha fans will be disappointed by the moe, and slice-of-life fans will hesitate to watch it because of the robots.

Probably because it isn't really related to the Stein's Gate anime apart from the same universe and evil organization. There was no crossover where i suspect the fans wanted.
As for the anime, it was okay. The series should've been paced better for the first and second half or should've been much longer to make the second arc not come out of nowhere and rushed to the ending.
And i guess the school setting of building a robot for the 12+ some episodes didn't help at all.

I'm guessing it's because it wasn't as popular as Steins;Gate and also because lot of anime fans nowadays don't like mecha, so by just looking at the cover art, they get turned off and see it as just another cliche mecha anime since they've never seen the show itself

I cared for it, I liked it. But Steins;Gate had better plot development although it started off slow, then it picks up on the the action/suspense.
Robotics;Notes was alright but not as "whoaaaa awesomeee impactoo" and it felt rushed. Maybe if it had more plot development it would've been a hit. It was a nice series though.
