USB flash help?
I am transferring pictures and video files from my mom's computer to mine. She has a mac and I have windows.
I'm using a flash drive to move the files, and it's working great except for the video files. They are going onto the drive great, but when I try to open them on my computer it can't play them. What's wrong?
I have tried changing the media player, and I have quicktime.

Have you tried changing the media player for the file in which it opens

I'm assuming there is a problem with the codecs used to create the video files on the Mac are different from those on a Windows machine (not totally sure, tbh)
I would suggest you download VLC player - which plays just about anything (I'm assuming you're using the accursed Windows Media Player [gack, curse, spit])

VLC player reliably plays most files

It will be the codecs that format and package the video file, try downloading Quicktime from apple.
