Port of Patras to Pireaus bus?
Are there still direct coach (bus) services between the Port of Patras (for ferries to Italy) and Piraeus, or is it necessary to change at Patras city centre and Athens?

Why not use the new train line ? the station is right by the quay , and at the Athens end links directly to the Light rail , tram and Underground railways to Pireaus port .
It may cost a couple of extra euros , but you are not subject to any traffic delays , the transfer is a lot easier and more comfy ( the trains from Patras to Athens are all new(ish) too ) . Plus you get the view , not the seatback in front and a sideways squint at the motorway .

Directly opposite the Port is the Bus Depot (KTEL) and that goes to Athens. From there you can take another bus to go to Pireaus. That will be the fastest and more sure way to get there.
The Shipping Companies have buses on certain days that service arrivals but you have to reserve tickets before arrival and trip. See below.
NOTE #1 The trains are not operating from Patras to Athens as yet. Passengers are taken by bus to Kiato and the train takes them on from there.
NOTE #2. Thank you so much for the thumbs down. It makes it so obvious WHO is behind it.
