email address and persons name are different?
A friend sent me an email when I went to open it when I put the arrow over it a different name comes up then what she claims her name to be. I really have no reason to believe she is lying but does anyone know how that could happen? I have my own opinion, and if there are ways of hi ding an IPP address this would not be hard to do if motivated to do do

Is she actual friend, as in somebody you know well?
Personally I have multiple email accounts and one of them is used with an alias for using when contacting strangers, like on craigslist in case I end up talking to a scammer. I don't want somebody to be anle to look up my home address.
Is the email address the part that has another name or the From name? Btw, the person may also go by a nickname or middle name, but if the last name is different also, it's a but weird.
You may want to just ask.

actually some times you can rename your name on the account. so just conferm her email id . if email id is currect then you can believe on it .
