Files appearing were they shouldn't, how to fix it?
Anywho i turned on my pc(windows 8) to listen to some music on my pc's sound player which is "Sony Music". It has a folder in which i can place files that i want to here on the player and any other file outside of it could not be heard, until recently. Now all my sound files are appearing on the player, even the ones that are outside the folder. Like for example now it's filled with the sound notifications of different programs and some recordings i do on my daw. So any idea why this happens and how do i fix it. Don't want to delete anything from my sounds.
Actually i deleted a file that wasn't previously on the player and it went directly to the thrash bin. The source wasn't there either.

It sounds like Sony player is indexing all the audio files on your system. Windows Media Player does this too.
Deleting the indexed file in Sony player most likely won't delete the source file, but first you should go through the options in the program. Make sure it's only indexing specific folders, or none at all. If you disable indexing, you can still add files just as you did before.
