Women do any of you wear seamed stockings to work?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!! Your wife (and Van Halen) is right.

I've been wearing 4" and 5" stilettos without a platform regularly for 20+ years. This typically includes a pencil skirt, blouse, and hose. These clothes at times attract attention, although they might be considered common place for an office setting (I work in an office).

Paired with seamed stockings and my outfit goes from a nicely dressed secretary to a sexy vixen. Not something I'd want to convey to my coworkers, but instead would save for my husband.

My point is this -- your wife isn't wearing them because they're fashionable, but instead wants the attention. Maybe it's time to ask yourself why.

Since you have asked, I wear normally to the office mostly stockings and garter belt or thigh highs. If the skirt or dress is a little shorter, then I go with pantyhose. Also normally in the office i am seen in 3" to 4" pumps. Enjoy your day!

Could it be that she is trying to get you more interested?

By wearing these stockings and telling you how other men are interested she may be teasing you and attempting to get you to open up and be more interested.

I would have said no big deal until she said because men like them. She's looking for attention besides yours.

If her main concern is to impress other men with them, then that's a BIG problem. YOU should be the only one she wants to impress. You might want to sit down and have a serious talk with her about your marriage...she seems to be interested in other men and not you.

God no, I never wear stockings, awful things.

I would only wear them for my husband or on Holloween. It is the old fashioned version of todays skimpy cleavage showing clothing. It screams look at me, I am a vixen and hot for sex. Sorry, but she is advertising something clearly not appropriate for the workplace. She apparently loves the attention.

Agree with Sara. Why is she trying to impress the men at work? That's a bit of a red flag.

I've never worn them to work. Don't you find it a bit strange that she was saying how much other men like them, and that's her reasoning behind wearing them?
