Christians - if you could only say one word to people to share your faith what would it be?

Faith - "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." (Hebrews 11:6)

LOVE!! - guys, THIS is what we need to be spreading more of! People see Christ-followers as judgmental hypocrites who hate hate hate, and it makes me so depressed that that is how my Christ is being portrayed! Please, for humanity's sake, can we love people more! Just as Christ loves us (and everyone, for that matter). Thanks for this question; I just really needed to say this after taking a look around the R&S category. It's almost heartbreaking... no it is.

Truth.

Repentance is important, but it cannot be done in ignorance. The only way to truly repent is to seek and know truth, because truth wipes away ignorance and forces us to be honest with ourselves. Those who repent without truth, repent in the darkness of ignorance, forcing themselves to believe they have repented when they have not. Those who possess truth possess light, so their repentance is always honest, and always with 100% conviction.

I am afraid that if someone i had just met said to me repent,i would turn around on my heel's and walk away as quickly as possible,as an atheist anyway i hate religion and for someone to try and push it on me i consider it an outright invasion of my personal thoughts and private convictions,i do not meet people and say hi everyone i am an atheist ok.

Jesus.

"Repent" is used too much by legalists who want all people to become like them. They tend to think their morality is better than everybody else's morality.

"Jesus" at least gives them a chance of recognizing the one who really pleased God, and did something meaningful to God.

Creator
