How many long range rockets does Hamas have?

According to Israel Hamas is manufacturing their own medium range rockets known as the M-75. How many do they have and at what rate do they produce it? Is it only low numbers such as 30,40 or even 50? That's a small number for artillery rockets and can't achieve anything new. So in the future if there's another air offensive and clash how is anything any different? Israel probably will hit most off them on the first day. So they'll be left with several.

Only informed people with military connections answer this. Do they have dozens or hundreds?

Also, do they have anything more than that? How are they saying they'll target northern Israel of they can't reach that range?

    long range: 0 . 0

They don't have any long ranged intercontental rockets.

It's hard to determine how much they accurately have since they make them themselves and might get some from iran.

Q:Also, do they have anything more than that?

    A:Yeah

Q:How are they saying they'll target northern Israel of they can't reach that range?

A: I dunno. If they said that theyre either big mouths or they'll use the west bank as a base for launching?

At the moment they have dozens at the most. These m75 rockets are hardest to produce of all the rockets and so with the joint Israel-Egypt enforced Gaza Blockade in place, getting materials to renew stockpiles is hard. Under Mohamed Morsi Hamas had their smuggling tunnels more open and so could smuggle in more resources, but since the Egyptian military coup the new Egyptian Government has been heavily attacking these smuggling tunnels and so m75 production has suffered recently.

Also on 5th March 2014 the Israeli Navy captured an Iranian arms ship headed for Gaza. This also set back Hamas m75 rocket production quite a lot. The Iranian ship was attempting to smuggle in missiles with a 200km range http://www.timesofisrael.com/idf-intercepts-major-...

So this answers our question of how Hamas can plan to attack North Israel... these 200km range missiles could easily strike Northern Israeli Cities such as Haifa, Safed and Karmiel. Although the Israel Defense Forces have seized many of these missiles from smuggling attempts, no doubt some will have successfully got through.

So we can estimate that Hamas have a few dozen m75 rockets and a smaller stockpile of 200 km missiles. You also need to consider that these weapon factories/storage facilities are all deep underground in Gaza to lessen the impact of Israeli targeted airstrikes. Also they keep tight security so that Israeli Intelligence cannot reach their hand inside so easily.

For this reason exact numbers are unknown, but we can all make educated guesses.

Rockets guided by misguided prayers don't count as rockets.

But if and when they make a strategic ballistic missle that actually hits a significant target . then as soon as the destruction is broacast on mainstream international media,,,,, They will be destroyed,,,,,

they have a few Fadj rockets from Iran that were broken down to be carried through the tunnels and have copied components to assemble their own.

I understand they have actually launched two or three that have not caused any causalities

they have a big problem. these are not something you can put on your shoulder and nip out to a tripod to launch.

the longer the range the heaver it is and the more complicated.

the Fadj has to be stored underground and because it weighs several tons needs a crane to put it on a semi trailer and taken to a ramp launch site.

by the time this has happened the drones know all about it and its been flattened

not very practical and no game changer. .
