2004 Sunfire manual transmission question?

I recently bought a 04 Pontiac Sunfire with 100K miles. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts well, but I want to change the transmission oil. I know how much to use and the type of oil and where to drain. I can not find where to put the oil back in this transmission. My repair manual states use a long funnel which I have in stock, but I can't find the stupid plug or what ever is there to add the oil. Suggestions please.

It would be smart to have a Chevrolet dealer do the work as apparently you haven't read the specifications pages of the glove compartment manual.

OK. You know where to drain. That is called the transaxle. It should have a bolt on the side of the trans axle, and possibly at the top. (Pontiac did things........) Drain, replace plug. Don't" over tighten. Hand tight and half turn is almost always sufficient. If it leaks, you can always snug it up. Using a funnel if there's room, add fluid to transaxle from the side, until fluid begins to come out. That is the level it needs to be at. Do on Level ground". Replace bolt. You may want to get a fresh washer, for the drain" plug. Before you start. They have multi pkgs at any auto parts store.
