i really need to make a mold?
Hello,
I need to make a reusable mold of a nose. I know it sounds odd but just bear with me. I have never made a mold before and i want to make a mold that I can reuse and put clay or something in there to a copy. I have never done this before and I am wondering if you can tell me what would be a good kit to get to make this. I found something called sculpey mold maker would this be a good product I need something that can dry or be taken off rather fast since i can not sit there with it on the nose all day while it drys. Any info on how to make molds with the product and such would be greatly appericated thank you
What i want to do is make a mold so i can make some nose prints of my dogs as keepsakes kind of like the pawprints ones. I want a reusable mold so if i made clay copies of it and they would break i would be able to make more

Normally a reusable mold of a nose would be of plaster, which with care can be applied to the Vaselined skin in a not very thick layer and which sets quickly. Or the more difficult to get But the Sculpey mold maker or other two part silicone rubber molding material will should work with the same kind of skin protection
Normally one would be make a mold of nose in order to make a plaster copy in order to develop one or more make-up prostheses with clay and mold them. You don't say why you want to do this.
