Do you think the Marlins will trade Stanton?

I was born in Miami and have always been a Marlins fan, finally seeing some life in this organization is great! There's also ALOT of trade rumors surrounding Stanton which, was to be expected. Anyway do you think the Marlins will resign him? Or do you expect a trade? If a trade happens I'd like to see him go to either Boston or LA because, 1) I lived in Boston when I was young so I'm a fan, plus Mookie Betts and Gerin Chechini are amazing prospects and LA has a few phenoms in the minors.

I think he's got a couple of seasons left in Miami. With Fernandez out, he's the only drawing card the team has plus, playing in the weakest division in MLB, he gives the Marlins a real shot at making a playoff run.

Look for Miami to trade him in 2016 since he'll become a free agent in 2017 and they won't be able to afford him.

Now, with Jose Fernandez out, Stanton might want a trade. He wanted a trade prior to last season when half the team was traded to Toronto but Stanton wasn't.

I see him being traded, may get the Marlins some good prospects.

Honestly i think the Cardinals make an attempt to get him. If the Cardinals can keep Miller, Wacha, Rosenthal, Siegrest, and Martinez i say its a no brainer, and if they can keep Taveras id like it even more.

The Cardinals have the young talent to make this trade happen, and if the Marlins do what they typically always do, they could end up with it right back if the Marlins choose to not pay their players once again and have another fire sale.

They signed Robinson Cano thinking HE would take them to the world series. He has done as good as a Seattle Mariner as could expect. Not the dog phucker many people said he would be but yet Seattle is just a .500 team...........Sorry, I guess I'm getting old, the nick names Marlins and Mariners confuses me. I was wondering who this Seattle player by the name of Stanton is?

  • The LA Dodgers already have enough outfielders, Puig, Kemp and a very good prospect named Joc Pederson

Dodgers won't get him. I think Miami will keep him.

I see him out of Miami soon, but I don't think they move him this year though. I would see him going to an AL team.

Neither Boston nor LA likely has the prospects to make that deal.

    No. Marlins will keep him.

I don't see him in Miami much longer, they don't know how to keep a team together.
