i bought a downloadable game off amazon and i was just wondering does it stay on your computer permently or will i find out that it gone?
one day? please answer i would like to know if i should get a hard copy of the game or if the downloaded copy is mine forever.

Digital distibution sources, such as Amazon and Steam, keep a record of your purchases. This way, if your game gets deleted or you buy a new computer or your hard drive crashes or whatever...you can reinstall it. There is a limit to this, so you don't go around logging in on your friends computers and give it to 100 people in a week, but - within reason - you'll never need to purchase a hard copy.
