Can walmart cancel an order when its already being ship?

So I preorder a game and it is schedule to be deliver on the next business day which is on a Tuesday because of Memorial day and they don't delivered on Sunday. However I cancel my card before Walmart can withdraw the money. The card issue was caused by "potential" card theft. So the package is already in town and is being delivered 3 days after. So, I get this message from walmart that reads (part of the letter) :

If we cannot fill your order, the item(s) will be moved to your Saved Items list so you can easily reorder. Find your Saved Items list by clicking "Cart" in the upper right corner of most pages on our site.

Please note: You must resolve this issue in the next three days to avoid a delay or other problems with your order.

Canceling an Order

Since I cannot do anything about this until my pin arrives (couple days later after the card is receive) What will walmart do?

Will they ask Fedex to cancel and ship back the game or can walmart do anything about it?
