Well my fiance told me all the gory details of his sex life when we first met, so I've not been in this situation. 3.5 years is a long time to keep that from him, so he might be understandably angry. Or, he may understand why you did it.
This isn't the kind of secret you should keep forever, and it's better late than never.
I do know I wouldn't leave my fiance just because he lied about something that happened before we met, but I would wonder why he kept lying for so long. The relationship would need a strong foundation for me to get over it.

well you two been together for 3 1/2 years so you obviously know him better than we do. how does he handle liars?
although i don't think it matters anymore. you guys should be focused on the now and the present not past sexual partners.
