Why are my parents so strict HELP?
I'm a 20 year old (will be 21 in a few months) female who is currently in a relationship that my parents don't know about.. Every time I try and leave the house to go with her they have to know where I'm at what I'm doing and who i'll be with.. It's getting harder and harder to make up excuses as our relationships goes on and my partners getting sick of it.. I have no intentions of telling my parents I'm in a relationship because I'm dating a girl and I could never imagine admitting it to them because I know it wouldn't go over well.. I feel like at my age I shouldn't have to tell my parents every detail of my life anyway.. I'm at a point where I feel like I'm going to lose either my parents (not that I'm very close with them but still) or my gf.. I NEED advice asap

If your kids do not inform you where they are going would you accept that?
It's always nice to tell your parents where you went so at least they have an idea the specific places you went too, instead of worrying about it.
It has nothing to do with age.
I am 24 and I tell my mom where I go. It doesn't bother me.

Well....You're 20, and you shouldn't have to tell your parent's where you are going or when you are going, so personally I'd say to either move or set things straight with them. Stop letting them control you, and confront them about it. Tell them you are done being treated like a child. Also, as far as coming out of the closet to your parents, the sooner the better.
