I guess you could blame it on guns.... I mean, that would be the easiest and most superficial way to make yourself feel better about things... if that's your goal...
....but a broader thinker might look at things like what we, as nations, teach our young people (both at home and at school) about the value of human life (all life, not just their own)... and about their place in society...
