Go below follow the prompts to download and install Yahoo messenger.

    http://messenger.yahoo.com/

After that sign in with your Yahoo email address and password.

    . Add contacts.

Click the + sign near the top left of the messenger window or click contacts top line in the messenger window or click add contact below your avatar then follow the prompts to add someone to your friend's list. They accept you and you in turn accept them When their icon is lit they are online. Double click on it, the chat window opens then send a message, call or invite to web cam.

To chat: double click on your friend's icon when it is lit. When the chat window opens start chatting or click actions top line then scroll and click what you wish to do.

To set up your web cam on Yahoo messenger Click messenger top left, scroll down and click preferences then scroll down and click webcam where you can make adjustments, click o.k. To make sure it is o.k. click messenger top left, scroll down and click my webcam. and your webcam should come on. You should also run your call setup. Click actions top row of the messenger window scroll down click call setup and follow the prompts. When you are chatting with someone click on webcam in the chat window.. My own opinion is that if you are going to be webcamming regularly download skype, to me it's far better than Yahoo messenger and more people use it.
