PLZ HELP...WHAT SHOULD I DO?

lets said there is a guy who like you and everytime he see you smile at you and talk to you when you not with your friends and just said hi when you are with your friends......

but after one of those week he stop talking or looking for you but when you find him he talk to you..... but the thing is if you dont see him even if both of you go to the same college do you feel like he is avoiding you???

i mean im doing that so i dont look kind of desperate so i kind of avoiding her for now even if i want to see her really bad...

my last 2 conversation out of the 6 went a little like this

-she asked me out of nowhere if i got a gf while we were talking aboout something else she bring that topic and i said no then i asked the same qustion since im a shy guy i dont know how to be social anyways she said she does have a bf and from that day everything change so i barely talk to her now... then 3 days passed i found her by coincidence i said hi and she smile at me and said hi too......

she asked me if i had been really busy lately and i saiid i was really busy...it was true but i can manage my time well....anyways i walked her to her classroom and she was at the door but from her face it looked like she was waiting for me to ask her something...maybe her # but i didnt ask for it i think is too soon...so i left and said bye then she got into her classroom that was on friday and today Tuesday i didnt try to look for her?? am i doing alright by not talking to her now
