Florida is basically just a giant sand bar, without any real bedrock to speak of. The higher the sea level gets, the more water will get into the limestone foundations of the state, and the more it will erode. Also global warming will cause more rain, which will also cause more sinkholes.

There are much more potholes in Florida than sinkholes. Actually rising sea level will make less of them. They all become sea holes... =D

The biggest sink holes in the World are in the minds of alarmists who think every natural disaster on Earth has never happened until humans came along. The Earth is over 1.2 quadrillion times the size (in weight) of all humans put together. The Earth has a mind of its own and will do whatever it wants to do without the help of humans.
Florida has always been unstable to build houses on. It's been an ongoing problem for years.

Sinkholes typically happen when water level fall but they aren't really talking about sea levels. It is groundwater levels that typically are involved. I don't know how many there are but they vary from very small to very large so I don't think there is any way to count them.
Cyclops, limestone takes a long time to dissolve. Sometimes the cement that holds sediments (same mineral as limestone will dissolve and weaken the structure). It is true that sinkholes are associated with buried caves in limestone and falling water levels.

millions of them.
climate change will cause them the limestone to go into solution faster.

It will probably turn the sinkholes into swimming pools.

sinkholes in the type of "rock" underlaying florida is quite common. a very dilute amount of hydrochloric acid is all it takes to dissolve the limestone under many parts of florida. the acidity is so dilute, you could drink it. it still dissolves coral and limestone.
