Why does this last Japanese sentence use no?

Watashi wa shū ni ikkai oyogi ni ikimasu.

Watashi wa tsuki ni ikkai kaimono ni ikimasu.

Watashi wa nen ni ikkai no kyūjitsu ni ikimasu.

The no particle follows once a year, but not once a week or once a month. Why is that?

"kyūjitsu ni ikimasu"( litarally translated into English, it means "go to a holiday") is a wrong Japanese usage. I've never said or heard that in my life. You can use it with an object like "kyūjitsu ni Tokyo ni ikimasu" which means "go to Tokyo on a holiday", or when you ask someone where to go on a holiday like "kyūjitsu ni doko ni ikimasuka?"

Anyway, taking a day off only once a year sounds completely insane, so it could be the reason the sentence is wrong.
