what is the #YesAllWomen all about?

Some dude in California got pissed that the sorority girls rejected him because he was nuts. So he posted this highly disturbing sexist manifesto claiming he deserved to have sex with all the hot girls on the internet, killed his three room mates, killed two sorority girls, then killed himself. Personally, I think he should have started his killing spree in reverse order.

As a response to his manifesto, the #yesallwomen tag popped up by legions of angry women pissed off about the fact that our society has devolved to the point where women are treated like sex objects. Some of the posts are from feminists, some are just tired of creeps making lewd passes at them all the time. But the weird psycho dude who killed all those people touched a nerve by saying he deserved sex with hot women. While people are mourning his victims, I don't think anyone outside his immediate family is shedding any tears over the fact that he removed himself from the land of the living.

Personally, I blame Hugh Hefner for the fact that society has gone to hell in a handbasket, but that's a rant for another time.
