Help with Gibbs free energy?
okay, so would someone please do this and show work because the answer I've gotten seems so wrong and I need to figure this out
"The standard enthalpy change for the folding of an enzyme at pH7.5 is -163KJmol-1. The standard entropy change is -435JK-1 mol-1. The temperature is 37C"
Now I know that ... ΔG=ΔH-TΔS
So am I right by doing this ... (-163)-(310x-435) ??? Also, what do I do with the units??

Be care the units. Your enthalpy change is given in kJ/mol, and your entropy change is given in J/molK. So using the equation:
ΔG=ΔH-TΔS
ΔG= -163 kJ/mol - (310 K) ( -435 J/molK)
ΔG= -163 kJ/mol - (-134850 J/mol)
ΔG= - 163 kJ/mol + 135 kJ/mol = -28 kJ/mol
Hope that helps...
