Now only fuel tanks have what we call the stick reading (dipstick) oil tanks even IDG have sight gauges where you can see the oil level.
Fuel Tanks (wing tanks, center tank & trim tanks) have all the stick reading we call dipstick. It is quite easy to see (wing tanks & trim tanks, the center tanks is the one near the wing root) it has a slot where you can place your coin and turn it (anti-clockwise) and it will fall down with the graduation that will tell you the fuel level inside that particular tank. We usually do this when the captain or crew is not satisfied of the fuel uplift that was put in or there is a tank fuel gauge that is not working so we must know the actual fuel that is in that particular tank. The Flight Operation manual inside the cockpit have the graphing as some sticks have to check the Crew manual.
of course the Flight deck crew know where it is located as they have the manuals and some crew usually check it for leaks on their Walk-Around Check.

Not hard to figure out where the dipstick is - it seems to be posting a lot of questions today.

Just watch the movie "Airplane". Not only is it a very funny movie but it will show you where the plane's dipstick is located.
