Looking for an anime that combines horror and romance?
Ok so I'm looking for an anime that combines horror and romance. I can't seem to find anything besides sankarea. I don't know if they have anything like this or not but I can't find any. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places. I also love it when the couple actually gets together in the anime not one where they end it and let your imagination think of what happens to them. It doesn't matter if it just lets it end or they actually get together it's just something I'd like in it. Any ideas?

I wouldn't really call Sankearea a horror, but if that's the genre you like then some of these might be a bit too gruesome for you. Most of the anime on this list are also more focused on horror than romance so many of them mightn't appeal to you. Tasogare Otome x Amnesia is exactly what you're looking for. It's a horror rom-com, and the romance is between a male high school student and a female ghost who died several decades ago. The romance in this anime is more profound and the ending is a lot more satisfying than Sankarea's, so this is the better anime between the two IMO.
Aside from that, there's Mirai Nikki, Elfen Lied, and Deadman Wonderland, but I doubt that's the kind of horror you're looking for. There's also Kore wa Zombie desu ka? where the protagonist is also a zombie, but it has little to no horror elements.

Mirai Nikki (The future diary) Is the best example. It's more a psychological/thriller/romance anime, then a horror/romance. But the romance in this anime is pretty... unique. 50/50 balance of romance and thriller. (Until the last 6 episodes where romance is focused on a lot more.)

Another is good, it has a slight romance but really good art and horror, if you like blood this is the way to go
