    1. Look up Planck's Law. Classically speaking, a black body at absolute zero emits no radiation. If this is high school physics, then that is a good enough answer.

    2. Consider the sun. Just because the spectrum peaks at yellow doesn't mean that there aren't longer wavelengths of light included - infrared, for example. Whether you could see the hypothetical star would depend largely on the distance, and your equipment, if any. If a star is close enough, even if it peaks in the X-ray region, we can see it - the neutron star in the crab nebula, for example.

    3. Generally yes.

    1. Yes.

    2. Correct. I think.

    3. Kind of but it's a little nuanced. Elements absorb light at particular frequencies, so what you're left with is a spectrum of light from a star with odd little black patches - these patches basically represent the elements that absorb those frequencies of light.

true excelpt according to Quantum Mechanics absolute Zero K cannot possible exist. it has been approached itching 1/1,000,000 or so K but never ZERO!

    1) An object with a temperature of zero Kelvin would cease to exist, so would CERTAINLY not emit any radiation!

    2) You would not be able to see it with the human eye

    3) True
