What's your opinion on the n-word?
This girl in one if my classes said that either everyone can say it or no one can say it but I don't really agree with that. Sure everyone can say it but not everyone should say it. I think only really black people should be able to say it to be truthful, but that's my opinion as a black girl.

I get annoyed when anyone says it. It was used as an insult and is slavery word. Why would it be okay for everyone to use such a term.
I especially hate it cause i have had to live my life with people who use it in an offensive way. So i can really only see as an offensive term.
Im heavily Anti-Racist. Im a punk, and we have problems with Nazi's in the community, so I even wear an AntiRacist patch on my jacket. I hope there is equally for everyone one day. And everyone will stop using such words on eachother

IMO, If black people dont want anyone to say it then i think that the first thing they should do is that they take the responsibility on themselves and not say it 10 times an hour..... they get offended when someone not black uses it cuz its an insult..... but that means that it becomes a right of black people to say the word all day as an insult or call everyone else white trash and expect no reaction ? First step is them being clear of what they want ....

It means nothing to me. The one who use it are the ones who seem to find it offensive.

actually I think your friend is right. Why should only certain people be allowed to say it? I don't know if it has always been offensive but it definitely has negative connotations attached to it now.

I don't like the 'n word' because the definition of the word is ignorant. If you called someone the 'n word' it's like you're calling them ignorant, but the ones saying the 'n word' is the ignorant one. It was used as a term for slaves back in the older days, and it's considered a different meaning now, but it still shouldn't be used unless used in a proper sentence that calls for the word (which I doubt won't happen).

It's more racist that certain blacks think they should be allowed to say it while they get mad at other races that say it
In a country that supposedly has freedom of speech, I don't care who says it

If whites can't use it, blacks shouldn't use it either, ban it from all rap songs, etc.
