How small is too small for rugby?
I already have my opinion on this subject but i'm interested to see what everyone else thinks? At 75kg and 5ft 9", do you think the days of playing professional rugby at this size are over? I know a Scrum Half would get away with it, but say a wing/fullback? Thanks guys.

Don't listen to those who are saying you are. If you've got a minute, do a bit of research regarding Jason Robinson. He actually came over from Rugby League and ended up playing both wing and full-back for England. He's actually retired now but his physical stats read 5 foot 8" and 12 stone. He wasn't the biggest around but I haven't seen too many players show the footwork, agility and speed that he had.
Bare that in mind. If you're willing to put the effort in to improve your footwork and the like, then why not?

The biggest example of this is Shane Williams 5 7 and 80 kg and scored 63 tries for Wales

Unless they're incredibly skilled, playing professionally at this size is going to be very difficult. A quick 9 could avoid hard contact and rely on the 10 to help take down bigger players. A wing or fullback has to do alot of solo tackles, so it would be a huge challenge to take down a center going at full speed. Professional players are constantly getting bigger and stronger, so I can't see someone this small being able to compete at the higher levels consistently

You're never too small to play rugby, that's the beauty of rugby
