tooth enamel worn? side teeth look smaller? help?
so I have had acid reflux for a while and my enamel on my back teeth have fully wore away at the tops. I really want to restore them, but everything i have looked up people say have not worked. My mom does not have a lot of money, so bonding many be too expensive. I am actually scared of the dentist because last time i went my dentist had tried to explain to my mom i have an eating disorder because of my worn enamel, when really its my acid reflux. what should i do?
no one understands how scared I am :(

You're going to have to get over you anger towards the dentist (I'm not saying fear because you don't fear him, your pissed cause he said stuff to your mom, but you have to understand that dentists see TONS of people that have those symptoms and they DO have an eating disorder. So your dentist was only trying to help you and do his job properly. So if you want to fix you teeth then you need to let go of the anger. Just think of how many kids lives your dentist may have saved by telling someone "your child may have an eating disorder.") Or just get a new dentist! Good luck!
