equazione logaritmica?

l equazione è: log in base 2 di (-2x-4)=3...ad un certo punto mi esce: 8=-2x-4..pero la x non puo essere negativa, quindi quando trasformo il segno della x da negativo a positivo devo cambiare anche gli altri segni? quanto da il risultato?

    C.E.: (-2x-4)>0 cioè x<-2

    -2x-4=2^3

    -2x=8+4

    x=-12/2=-6

    verifica: log₂(12-4) = log₂(8) = 3
