I am learning to knit lace?
I would like to buy a set of needles that have a hole in them where I can put a thread to hold my place in case I need to rip out to a certain point. Experienced knitters will probably know what I mean. Patternworks doesn't carry them, although the rep knew what I was talking about.
Does anyone know where I can get such a thing?
Thank-you,
Sis

Susan Bates Tipping Points have a lifeline hole, and also Knit Picks interchangeable circular needles from Knit Picks (which I'm using now). I think you're only going to find this feature on needles with interchangeable tips. You don't need needles with holes to make a lifeline though, you can just use a blunt needle and thread dental floss or crochet cotton through your stitches.
