I feel like a failure ):?

So I wanna go into nursing. I didn't get into the nursing program my freshman yr coming from highschool so I couldn't take all the classes needed to get into the nursing program. So instead, I took some of the prerequisites freshmn yr & the other half my soph year so I could get into the nursing prgrm the end if soph yr. I didn't do so well on 2 classes which means that I have to wait yet another year to get in. The worst part is that my schoo has this policy where u have to pass the class the 2nd time or else pursue nursing elsewhere. I got a C on my anatomy class the 2nd so yeah. It's gunna be my third year of college. I'm going back 2 the same school, gunna get my GPA higher & transfer. But I feel like I failed myself ): I feel lost like I lost my sense of direction. any advice would be appreciated!

Don't feel like a failure. You're young, it's your time to make mistakes. Just work harder from now on. Transferring is a great idea. You could even check out online education. A lot of great schools are offering amazing online nursing programs. Check out http://www.excite.com/education/nursing . Online education has come a far way and a lot of great schools are offering online courses. Take a look and see if any of them are for you. Nursing is a great career option, try not to let go of it. Good luck!

The "pre-nursing" http://www.rn.ca.gov/careers/steps.shtml year usually predicts that the student MAY stuggle if he or she is admitted into the actual program later. It does not rule out the possibility that you may not be successful by the way.

You may have to go to another school, but this time, you have to focus every free minute on what you're supposed to learn. If you were going out two, three times a week, it has to stop. If you had a boyfriend or a girlfriend, that person has to be put on hold - I am serious about this.

Go for engineering or computer science, it's easier and makes more money.

So maybe nursing isn't your thing. What do you find appealing about nursing? What other jobs have that thing? Perhaps there is a greater amount of that thing in another profession that would suit you better?

You only find success through your failure, embrace your failure, but don't fail to learn from it.
