If NRA keeps dissing Open Carry - who would win the GUN BATTLE?

The NRA still is and always has been Pro-Open Carry. They just disapprove of the in your face tactics that certain Open Carry groups have adopted. Tactics that turn neutral people against us.

The two groups are still on the same side of the issue.

And as usual, I agree with the NRA.

There would be no 'war'. If things truly got that bad in this country there would be no battle, no war. There would simply be newsworthy events of certain government officials being taken out. Those who make and enforce the laws. Legislators, judges etc.

NRA has retracted. As to your question: NRA will not, and can not "call up" it's members to war. Fear and Hatred (of other people's Rights) are very strong emotions. Usually they are not completely thought through. People who scream that they are "Against Guns"...really aren't against guns at all. They need the government and the police and other entities who they deem to be absolutely trustworthy, morally straight, and above reproach, to have guns so they can come and take the guns from their neighbors. They just don't want guns in the hands of people they don't know or don't like the reputation of. So, the Anti-gunners are, in fact, very pro-gun. They just want to be able to decide WHO has the guns. Where ever you go in this great country, you will find men and women who do the right things as well as those who push the limits of decency and reasonableness. There are those who obey the laws, and there are criminals in plain sight. Over reaction in either case never benefited either, nor aided in the safety of our citizens.

I don't think its necessary to show your gun. What is the freaking purpose? Its just more intimidation to scare people into not voting or being out. No one likes it and it should be against the law for these cowards to do this.

If you are gonna carry, open carry is the only legitimate way to go. Why hide your goods? When you want to look serious about who you are, why conceal the goods that prove who you are.

I wish the Bundy militia had been taken down in a hail of mini-gun bullets from an Apache.

The NRA isn't dissing Open Carry. They are dissing irresponsible open carry.
