will bonobos help species not their own?

ive read only bonobos and humans will help another of their kind by opening a gate to share food. no other primate is altuistic in this way. my question is, is it known if a bonobo will help an animal of a different species aquire food, sush as opening gate? or is their altruism reserved only for other bonobo?

watch the animal channel. there are MANY cases of interspecies "friendships" and aid.

a lioness "adopting" a baby antelope. species of primates having "pets"

    dolphins rescuing humans from drowning

One obvious cause is the maternal instinct taken to an extreme.

I think it would apply if the bonobo bonded to some other animal such as a human or "kitten".
